My Professional Experience

Since 1996, I have worked with Children, Adolescents, and Adults in a variety of settings and a variety of roles ranging from private practice providing therapy to children, adolescents and adults in individual and family sessions including couples counseling and pre-marital therapy, an agency providing child and family therapy to families with children ranging from 3 to 18 as a Child and Family Therapist, an agency completing mental health assessments for children and adolescents, an agency providing counseling to low-income, marginalized individuals and families of all ages ranging from 6 to 60 as a counselor/therapist, an adolescent development program as a Youth Development Specialist providing education and facilitating support and psychoeducational groups and crisis intervention for at-risk youth, an alternative high school as a school counselor, a residential facility for developmentally delayed children and adolescents as a Unit Counselor, and a foster care assessment agency as a Youth Care Worker and a Case Manager working with foster and biological families.

I provide clinical supervision to individuals working toward licensure in both individual and group settings.

My Education and Training

I am an Approved Clinical Supervisor. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I have a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with an advanced generalist focus from Eastern Washington University. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington with a major in Psychology. I have attended many trainings ranging from physical response training, suicide prevention, HIV training, adolescent brain development, youth empowerment, de-escalation, crisis intervention, sexually aggressive youth, treatment plan design, assessment and more.
